Period II (Mesolithic)
The largest number of paintings in this period.
More themes but paintings reduce in size.
Mostly hunting scenes – people hunting in groups with barbed spears, arrows and bows, and pointed sticks. Also, show traps and snares to catch animals.
Hunters wear simple clothes; some men are shown with headdresses and masks. Women have been shown both clothed and in the nude.
Animals seen – elephants, bisons, bears, tigers, deer, antelopes, leopards, panthers, rhinos, frogs, lizards, fish, squirrels and birds.
Children are seen playing and jumping. Some scenes depict family life.

इस अवधि में चित्रों की सबसे बड़ी संख्या।
अधिक विषयवस्तु लेकिन चित्रों का आकार कम हो जाता है।
ज्यादातर शिकार के दृश्य – कांटेदार भाले, तीर और धनुष और नुकीली छड़ियों के साथ समूहों में शिकार करते लोग। जानवरों को पकड़ने के लिए जाल और जाल भी दिखाएं।
शिकारी साधारण कपड़े पहनते हैं; कुछ पुरुषों को हेडड्रेस और मास्क के साथ दिखाया गया है। महिलाओं को कपड़े पहने और नग्न दोनों तरह से दिखाया गया है।
देखे गए जानवर – हाथी, बाइसन, भालू, बाघ, हिरण, मृग, तेंदुआ, पैंथर, गैंडा, मेंढक, छिपकली, मछली, गिलहरी और पक्षी।
बच्चे खेलते-कूदते नजर आ रहे हैं। कुछ दृश्य पारिवारिक जीवन को दर्शाते हैं।
