🔆India’s G-20 Presidency
UPSC PIB NEWS:
✅The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi unveiled the Logo, Theme and Website of India’s G20 Presidency.
♻️Details :
✅India will assume the Presidency of the G20 for one year from 1st December 2022 to 30th November 2023.
✅Under its presidency, India is expected to host over 200 G20 meetings across the country.
✅The G20 Leaders’ Summit at the levels of Heads of State/Government is scheduled to be held on 9th & 10th September 2023, New Delhi.
✅The G20, or Group of Twenty, is an intergovernmental forum of the world’s major developed and developing economies.
✅It comprises 19 countries (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, the USA and the European Union).
✅Collectively G20 accounts for 85% of global GDP, 75% of international trade and two-thirds of the world’s population.
✅India is currently part of the G20 Troika (current, previous and incoming G20 Presidencies) comprising Indonesia, Italy and India.
✅During our Presidency, India, Indonesia and Brazil would form the troika.
♻️Logo & Theme :
✅The G20 logo is inspired by the vibrant colours of India’s National Flag – green, white and saffron.
✅It juxtaposes planet earth with the lotus, the National Flower that symbolises growth amidst challenges.
✅The Earth reflects India’s pro-planet approach to life, one in perfect harmony with nature.
✅“Bharat” is written below the Logo in the Devanagari script.
✅“Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth One Family One Future” is the theme of India’s G20 Presidency.
✅The theme is drawn from the ancient Sanskrit text of the Maha Upanishad.
✅The theme also reflects “LiFE”- Lifestyle for Environment with its associated, environmentally sustainable and responsible choices, both at the level of individual lifestyles as well as national development, leading to globally transformative actions resulting in a cleaner, greener and bluer future.

✅प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भारत की G20 अध्यक्षता के लोगो, थीम और वेबसाइट का अनावरण किया।
♻️विवरण :
✅भारत 1 दिसंबर 2022 से 30 नवंबर 2023 तक एक वर्ष के लिए G20 की अध्यक्षता ग्रहण करेगा।
✅इसकी अध्यक्षता में, भारत में देश भर में 200 से अधिक G20 बैठकों की मेजबानी करने की उम्मीद है।
✅राज्य/सरकार के प्रमुखों के स्तर पर G20 नेताओं का शिखर सम्मेलन 9 और 10 सितंबर 2023 को नई दिल्ली में आयोजित होने वाला है।
✅G20, या ग्रुप ऑफ़ ट्वेंटी, दुनिया की प्रमुख विकसित और विकासशील अर्थव्यवस्थाओं का एक अंतर-सरकारी मंच है।
✅इसमें 19 देश (अर्जेंटीना, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, ब्राजील, कनाडा, चीन, फ्रांस, जर्मनी, भारत, इंडोनेशिया, इटली, जापान, कोरिया गणराज्य, मैक्सिको, रूस, सऊदी अरब, दक्षिण अफ्रीका, तुर्की, यूके, यूएसए) शामिल हैं। और यूरोपीय संघ)।
✅सामूहिक रूप से G20 वैश्विक सकल घरेलू उत्पाद का 85%, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार का 75% और दुनिया की आबादी का दो-तिहाई हिस्सा है।
✅भारत वर्तमान में G20 ट्रोइका (वर्तमान, पिछली और आने वाली G20 प्रेसीडेंसी) का हिस्सा है जिसमें इंडोनेशिया, इटली और भारत शामिल हैं।
✅हमारी अध्यक्षता के दौरान, भारत, इंडोनेशिया और ब्राजील ट्रोइका बनाएंगे।

✅G20 लोगो भारत के राष्ट्रीय ध्वज के जीवंत रंगों – हरा, सफेद और केसरिया से प्रेरित है।
✅यह कमल के साथ पृथ्वी ग्रह को जोड़ता है, राष्ट्रीय फूल जो चुनौतियों के बीच विकास का प्रतीक है।
✅पृथ्वी जीवन के प्रति भारत के प्रो-प्लैनेट दृष्टिकोण को दर्शाती है, जो प्रकृति के साथ पूर्ण सामंजस्य में है।
लोगो के नीचे देवनागरी लिपि में “भारत” लिखा हुआ है।
✅”वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम” या “एक पृथ्वी एक परिवार एक भविष्य” भारत के G20 प्रेसीडेंसी का विषय है।
✅विषय महा उपनिषद के प्राचीन संस्कृत पाठ से लिया गया है।
