■ OBJECTIVE RESOLUTION

◇ On December 13, 1946, Jawaharlal Nehru moved the historic ‘Objective Resolution’ in the Assembly. It laid down fundamentals and philosophy of the constitutional structure.

□ It read:-

◇ “This Constituent Assembly declares its firm and solemn resolve to proclaim India as an Independent, Sovereign, Republic and to draw up for her future governance a Constitution:

◇ Wherein the territories that now comprise British India, the territories that now form the Indian States and such other parts of India as are outside India and the States as well as other territories as are willing to be constitut -ed into the independent sovereign India, shall be a Union of them all .

◇ Wherein all power and authority of the sovereign independent India, its constituent parts and organs of Government are derived from the people.

■ उद्देश्य संकल्प

#संविधान सभा

◇ 13 दिसंबर, 1946 को जवाहरलाल नेहरू ने विधानसभा में ऐतिहासिक ‘उद्देश्य प्रस्ताव’ पेश किया। इसने संवैधानिक संरचना के मूल सिद्धांतों और दर्शन को निर्धारित किया।

□ इसमें लिखा है:-

◇ “यह संविधान सभा भारत को एक स्वतंत्र, संप्रभु, गणराज्य के रूप में घोषित करने और उसके भविष्य के शासन के लिए एक संविधान तैयार करने के लिए अपने दृढ़ संकल्प की घोषणा करती है:

◇ जिसमें वे क्षेत्र जो अब ब्रिटिश भारत को समाहित करते हैं, वे क्षेत्र जो अब भारतीय राज्यों और भारत के ऐसे अन्य हिस्सों का निर्माण करते हैं जो भारत और राज्यों के साथ-साथ अन्य प्रदेशों के रूप में हैं, जो स्वतंत्र संप्रभु भारत में गठित होने के इच्छुक हैं, उन सभी का एक संघ होगा।

◇ जिसमें संप्रभु स्वतंत्र भारत, उसके घटक भागों और सरकार के अंगों की सभी शक्ति और अधिकार लोगों से प्राप्त होते हैं।
