Painting AT BADAMI

🧠Badami or Vatapi as it was earlier known as , is one of the most treasured monuments of ancient India. The paintings which are housed in rock-cut cave temples mostly belong to 6th and 8th centuries.

🧠The paintings of Badami are among the earliest surviving in Hindu temples, just as the paintings at Ajanta and Sittannavasal are the earliest Buddhist and Jain murals.

🧠The caves at Vatapi were fully decorated with murals; many of them were inspired from Puranas.

🧠The most surviving murals include the paintings of Shiva and Parvathi as well as some other characters.

🧠The painting style is close with that in Ajanta. The Cave number 4 has a mural painting of Adinatha, the Jain tirthankara.

बादामी में चित्रकारी

🧠बदामी या वातापी, जैसा कि पहले इसे जाना जाता था, प्राचीन भारत के सबसे क़ीमती स्मारकों में से एक है। रॉक-कट गुफा मंदिरों में रखे गए चित्र ज्यादातर 6ठी और 8वीं शताब्दी के हैं।

🧠बदामी के चित्र हिंदू मंदिरों में सबसे पुराने जीवित चित्रों में से हैं, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे अजंता और सित्तनवासल के चित्र प्राचीनतम बौद्ध और जैन भित्ति चित्र हैं।

🧠वातापी की गुफाओं को पूरी तरह से भित्ति चित्रों से सजाया गया था; उनमें से कई पुराणों से प्रेरित थे।

🧠सबसे अधिक जीवित भित्ति चित्रों में शिव और पार्वती के साथ-साथ कुछ अन्य पात्रों के चित्र भी शामिल हैं।

🧠पेंटिंग शैली अजंता के करीब है। गुफा संख्या 4 में जैन तीर्थंकर आदिनाथ का एक भित्ति चित्र है।

🧠 यहां से प्राप्त शिव की छवि 9 जोड़ी हाथों का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है, प्रत्येक जोड़ी भरतनाट्यम की विभिन्न स्थितियों का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है
